While the NRSVue translation of 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 may allow a practicing homosexual to feel better for now, unless they repent of their sin and trust in Christ’ finished work on the cross alone for their salvation, they will be very disappointed come Judgment Day. It is a translation that prevents practicing homosexuals from entering the kingdom of God. Not unlike what Pastor MacArthur said about the Canadian government through enacting Bill C-4 to ban so-called “conversion therapy”:

What interest does the government have in protecting homosexuals from the kingdom of God? What business do they have in telling the church under divine mandate that it’s a felony to convert a sinner?

I serve as an elder at Fairview Community Church in Fairview, Tennessee. FCC is a small church that wants to see serial and unrepentant homosexuals exercise biblical saving faith. Regrettably, the salvation of a practicing homosexual becomes more difficult in light of a translation like the NRSVue, which “gaywashes”
